Our seats are in the Front Mezz, Row A, but over on the left side Some charts make it look like the back row of Loge will be directly in front of our seats.
Other charts depict Loge seating as a separate section maybe a little lower? I even called the Gershwin Theater and the woman didn't know what "Loge" seating meant She finally said maybe those were the box seats. So, does anyone know if the Loge seats will be directly in front of us? Is Front Mezz, Row A truly a front row seat, even in the side sections? Maybe this will help according to Wikipedia.

I've looked on a couple of seating charts now and don't see anything labeled Loge.
I'm guessing it's the mezzanine? I think you'd be safe with a mezzanine seat but, if you're short, would, as a general rule, caution against first row seating: maybe not in the Gershwin but in other, older theaters there's usually a bar that runs along the front row that hits me right at eye level. I don't know about this particular theater, but in the theater here in town, the Loge is prime seating, just in front of the mezzanine. Loge seats are much more expensive, and the seats are even larger and more plush than the others.
Maybe that is the case here? Hope this information is still relevant Hope it is helpful. It seems that Loge seating is below lower mezz.
