When do the zanpakuto rebellion

God, I wish the anime would ever just let Rukia kick some ass without one of her boys showing up. They could do that universally, where characters who are good friends or frenemies switch opponents and p0wn them. Give me a story arc where all the vice-captains have to take down their own captains, it would be sweet as helllllll. Boy, howdy, though, I love watching zanpakutou school their shinigami with their own powers. Dammit, Rukia picks up a handful of dirt and does not use it as pocket sand , why you gotta do this to me?

Anyway, they fight, and Rukia ends this by declaring she will give up Sode no Shirayuki self-sacrifice, I tell you but she will not allow her to hurt anyone.

All of her dialogue in this scene is incredibly metal. She uses Rikujoukouru to bind them together and does a Soren Sokatsui so they will be destroyed together. This is such a baller move! Such character! So emotions! Having been abandoned by his master, Muramasa loses control of the multiple Hollows whom he had been storing inside of him and unleashes countless Gillians into the area.

Though Ichigo manages to slightly overpower him with his mask, the many Gillians make the fight tougher. Soon, Muramasa loses control of his Reiatsu and is enveloped by a large dome-like structure. Manifesting his sword, Muramasa attacks Ichigo. As Muramasa uses more illusions to fight him, Ichigo connects with Zangetsu and sends Muramasa flying through several pillars. As Ichigo criticizes his beliefs, Muramasa refuses to give up as his Hollow mask begins to form on his face.

Ripping it off, Muramasa charges at Ichigo for a final time and is defeated. As the dome fades away, a defeated Muramasa falls. When Byakuya thanks Ichigo, Ichigo accepts his thanks before leaving. Bleach Wiki Explore. Bleach Media. Reverse London Magic.

Of course, without said power, Koga is killed by Byakuya, and Muramasa becomes the final boss, having become unstable due to consuming Hollows to stay manifested while Koga was sealed.

Short Summary A anime only filler arc that popped up in between the Fake Karakura Town and Deicide Arc, making the placement within the Bleach story rather difficult.

The shinigami's Zanpakutos suddenly take corporal human forms and turn against their owners, claiming independence, and lead by a mysterious figure known as Muramasa who is the cause of such an anomaly.

Ichigo and the rest of the Gotei 13 must battle against their own weapons while trying to figure what Muramasa's up too. Main Summary Something strange is going on in Soul Society. Hyorinmaru tries to tell him his name each time, but Toshiro is never able to hear him until he finally goes through the training required to become a Shinigami. When Toshiro gets his Bankai back from Cang Du, he states that it's because his Zanpakuto wants to return.

After questioning the Quincy's belief that Zanpakuto don't have souls, the 10th Squad Captain welcomes Hyorinmaru back. Muramasa goes to great lengths to free Koga Kuchiki, his Shinigami master who had been imprisoned for attempting to revolt against Soul Society. Unfortunately, despite Muramasa's unwavering loyalty, Koga abuses his Zanpakuto spirit and even tries to kill him.

Even this is not enough to push Muramasa away — however, the Zanpakuto spirit experiences true grief the moment Koga destroys his sword form and tells Muramasa that he is through with him. Shunsui has two Zanpakuto spirits: Katen and Kyokotsu. Since they all have a mischievous nature and enjoy playing games, especially with their enemies, they get along excellently.

Katen is particularly close to Shunsui , expressing a great amount of concern when he is injured by the Quincy, Lille Barro.

She has sworn an oath to remain with him until the very end, and even begs Shunsui to run away if his opponent is too strong — showing how important the Shinigami's life is to his Zanpakuto spirit. Ashisogi Jizo has one of the most frightening Bankai, transforming into a giant baby that exhales poisonous gas.

However, the only way for it to have a good relationship with its master is to be completely subservient all the time. Mayuri is the type of scientist who would not hesitate to modify the bodies of himself, his followers, and even his Bankai, conducting ruthless and often excruciating experiments on them.
